According to The Marcellus Effect, as of last May, 2010, Ohio had 159 injection wells accepting fracking brine.
What that means for Ohioans is, ton upon ton, upon ton of contaminated, toxic water has been dumped into your ground, with the potential to seep into your drinking water, bringing with it cancer, asthma, and a laundry list of life-threatening diseases.
My next question; how many more injection wells have been approved by the Ohio officials charged with, and failing to protect its citizens?
