About Us at Ohio, Frac, and the Environment

This site is here to share information, separate fact from fiction, and raise awareness about the practice of hydro-fracture gas drilling, also called, frac, frack, frak, fracting, and hydro-fracking.

New versions of the term hydro-fracture seem to be developing as the practice increases. By the same token, new facts about the dangers of the practice and its effect on the environment and on human life are increasing along with the practice.

We plan to offer links to credible sources, and to present facts in a clear, focused manner, making it easy for visitors to this site to find credible information.

While personally against the practice, especially unsafe the methods for disposing of fracking brine, if any redible information is found in support of the practice it will also be shared here. (So far all positive reports I have found have been sourced, or funded, by the companies making millions of dolars on the practice, and have proven invalid, damaging, and just plain hazardous to fresh-water supplies.)
